SHARING |
| Private: | For your eyes only |
| Personal: | It is your appointment/event but your family members can see it |
| Work: | It is your appointment/event but your co-workers can see it (currently under development) |
| Family: | Family appointment/event therefore all family members can see it |
| Business: | Business appointment/event therefore all business members can see it (currently under development) |
| School: | School appointment/event therefore all school members can see it. As an individual you can view such an event, but you cannot create one unless your are part of the school administration (currently under development) |

ALERTS |
You can be alerted in three different ways:
| EMail: | You can be alerted by email. You can choose the number of days before the event that the email will be sent. |
| Messenger: | You can be alerted using the DBiz Messaging system. You can choose the number of days before the event that the message will be sent. |
| Pop Up: | You can be alerted using a PopUp. This requires that you be logged into the calendar at the time. You can choose the number of minutes before the event that the Pop Up will appear. |

OCCURENCE |
There are many occurences:
| Once: | Occurs once and once only. |
| Weekly: | Choose whether the event occurs every week, every second week or otherwise. Choose the day of the week that it occurs on. |
| Monthly by Week: | Choose whether the event occurs every month, every second month or otherwise. And choose the First, Second, Third, Fourth or last weekday of that month that it occurs on. |
| Monthly: | Choose whether the event occurs every month, every second month or otherwise. And choose the day of the month that it occurs on. |
| Yearly by Week: | Choose whether the event occurs every year, every second year or otherwise. Choose the month and choose the First, Second, Third, Fourth or last weekday of that month that it occurs on. |
| Yearly: | Choose whether the event occurs every year, every second year or otherwise. Choose the month and choose the day of the month that it occurs on. |
For recurring events the "Start" and "Finish" dates/count are always available, although you don't have to, these should always be used if they are known (and it is appropriate) and in particular the
"Finish" date/count as otherwise the event will be never ending.
