Stocked Date:
Plays a very IMPORTANT role in proper stock tracking, please read above.

Current Stock Level:
"Current Stock Level" field is used one of two ways depending on the value of "Requires Stock Details" (see Inventory Item Screen Help for more details).

If the corresponding Item for which we are tracking stock does not require stock details ("Requires Stock Details" unticked) then "Current Stock Level" can be manually adjusted. Please note that in this case, when receiving the stock ordered, the storeman must in fact update the stock level manually (as well as the "Stocked Date") to indicate how much stock was actually received.

If the corresponding Item for which we are tracking stock does in fact require stock details ("Requires Stock Details" is ticked) then "Current Stock Level" can not be manually adjusted. The "Current Stock Level" is automatically adjusted when stock numbers are added (click "Current Stock Level" link to view screen).
