Generic Help: Requirements Search Screens
MESSAGES SCREEN:

Send and received DBiz messages via this screen.
DBiz Messenger is for internal messages where only people with a login to your DBiz site can send you messages.
DBiz messaging allows businesses to communicate faster and safer within the enterprise.
As DBiz Messenger is internal, it is not susceptible to Spam or Viruses, as EMail is, from the general internet population.

Search Options

You may search "Sent" or "Received" messages.

Action Options

3 types of actions are available:
  1. Move message(s) to another folder.
  2. Change message attributes. Mark as UnRead/Read or For Follow Up/Not For Follow Up.
  3. Delete message(s). Note that deleted messages will only be moved to the "Deleted" folder, but that messages removed from the "Deleted" folder will be permanently deleted.

TO, CC and BCC fields

These fields basically operate from left to right:
  1. Enter a single recipient name in one of the edit fields or a list of recipients separated by a semi-colon (;). 
  2. Click on the corresponding "Add Employee" or "Add Department" link. If the name(s) can be uniquely identified the name(s) will be moved to the corresponding listbox. If there is more than one match, a screen will be displayed with options to choose from. If there are no matches then the name(s) remain(s) in the edit field.
  3. The list of recipients finally appear in the corresponding listbox. Employees will appear preceded with a "E:" and departments will appear preceded with a "D:".

Note that leaving the edit field blank and clicking the "Add Employee" or "Add Department" links will display the corresponding lookup screen which will then allow a more thorough search of the database. Once the necessary record has been found, merely clicking on the name will add it to the list of recipients.
